What to write?

For the past week, I had wanted to write, but always short of what to blog about. But, I think I had gotten over that, by just reviewing event of the country during the week.

The new president Umar Yar'adua jetted out of the country today, signaling his first official visit outside the country since his inauguration.

The Senate President is now Gen. David Mark, and the only thing the majority Nigerians remembered about him was his remark when he was Communication Minister during the past Military regime where he said "Telephone is not for the poor'

Nigeria also has its first female Speaker in Mrs Ette. She was also sworn in Yesterday. Remarks from his co-legislators indicates that she is very good for the job.

This blog however warn the principal officers to beware of the legendary "banana peels" especially in the senate that has characterise those who are first appointed on the first day of inauguration of Senate but never make it to till the end of their tenure.

There is more, but more gist later.
